Started of his career in the BigBrother Naija house season 5 edition, the Ogun State born artiste is one of Nigeria’s finest fast rising artiste to dominate the music industry.

Album:

One major thing fans expect from their favorite is an album to be produced and released this year.

Though, Laycon has not made any official statement or given any hint towards this.

However, with the latest EP he released no 1st of April, 2020 “Who is Laycon?“, and features he had last year, we believe he has quite a number song to deliver for an album.

Moreso, it is safe to say, with the fan base Laycon has gathered in a short period of fame, an album only adds to his collection of achievements.

The Fierce crooner was last featured in DJ Neptune‘s Nobody‘s remix, where he delivered beautifully.

Endorsement deals:

From the inception of his career in the BBNaija house, Laycon has bagged several awards even before his win.

From being an ambassador to Oppo Mobile Nigeria, to being an ambassador of Mentos Fresh Candy.

The two prominent ones are;

• the just concluded chieftaincy title he received from his home town,
• and the Youth ambassadorial deal from his state governor, Governor Dapo Abiodun.

We believe in 2021, Laycon should have more endorsement deals, both locally and Internationally.

To the surprise of many, Laycon did not get nominated for any award in the 14th Headies Awards Ceremony.

Laycon‘s management  and Public relations team have done a fantastic job in maintaining Laycon at the spotlight.

For the record, The Hip-hop singer has had over 12 million streams on Audiomack, and over 2 million views on YouTube.

However, for Laycon to remain revelant and gain more recognition, his PR and management team have to be consistent.

The ‘Fierce’ singer has just been installed as the Akweje of Ipokia kingdom in Ogun State, on Sunday 3rd of January.

Laycon received the traditional title from the Onipokia of Ipokia, Oba Yisa Adesola Olaniyan.

This happened at the 2021 Opo Day celebration held at the District High School, Ipokia.

Starting the year in a grand style, the singer was however excited and promised to stand by the youth and everything they contribute to society.

After his win from the Big Brother Naija house, he was awarded a Youth Ambassadorial deal, from the Ogun State Governor.

Laycon further revealed that where he got the chieftaincy title from, was where his mum had schooled.

He wrote on his Twitter page;

“The venue where I was given my chieftaincy title is District High School Ipokia, where my Mum schooled. On every transcendental being that is valid.”
