Nigerian singer and rapper Goya Menor and Ghanaian Multi-Genre record producer Nektunez are set to release the official video for the ‘Ameno Amapiano‘ remix.

The video snippet was shared Via Twitter on the 17th of February 2022.

The ‘Ameno Amapiano’ remix’s popularity in the music industry has been extraordinary, pushing Goya Menor and Nektunez to the forefront.

The ‘Ameno Amapiano’ became viral all thanks to TikTok, for making the song currently the most shazamed afrobeats song in the world and has racked up hundreds of millions of streams, continues to climb the charts.

After the massive success of the hit song, Ameno was removed from major streaming platforms.

According to Goya explaining why the song was removed from the Major streaming platform, he stated that this was because the song had surpassed the initial amount of streams agreed upon with Nektunez.

Recall, The singer revealed in an interview with City Fm that he will be releasing the video of his hit song soon.

Buzzing Nigerian musician Goya Menor explained in detail why his hit song ‘Ameno Amapiano (remix)’ was removed from several streaming platforms.

Recall that the music was previously removed from streaming outlets such as Spotify, only to be re-added.

Goya Menor and Ghanaian record producer Nektunez own the song, which samples “Ameno” by French new-age musical act Era.

As it is known, to sample any form of intellectual property, it is expected that the party that owns such property be contacted and the said sample be “cleared”.

The Amapiano remix, which includes the original song’s Gregorian chant, has become a global hit, with TikTok playing a significant part in its dissemination.

In an interview with City FM’s Melody Hassan, the rapper, who is frequently considered as a hypeman, revealed that the song was previously cleared by Nektunez, but the remix exceeds the agreed-upon number of streams, which is why it was removed.

The rapper stated that the appropriate authorities were contacted and the song was fully cleared, resulting in its return to streaming platforms.

He also spoke about other projects he is working on.

The high-tempo Amapiano tune became a smash tune in the latter part of 2021, going on to become a global smash tune courtesy of video-sharing app TikTok.

The rapper, who is generally considered a hypeman, revealed in an interview with City FM’s Melody Hassan that he was interested in making the song because of the buzz that Era’s classic “Ameno” had in Nigerian nightclubs.

Goya stated that he almost quit music because it was demanding a lot from him and very expensive. He also made it known that he will be releasing the official video of his hit song soon.
