According to Ghanaian talent manager Mr Logic, the remix of Bob Marley and The Wailers’ “Stir It Up” featuring Sarkodie lacks any African flavour, making the project unremarkable.

The long-awaited song featuring Sarkodie and Bob Marley has been made public. On Friday, January 20, the new version of the timeless Bob Marley song “Stir It Up” was made available.

This song’s recognisable guitar strums were notably used in its production by Ghanaian producer MOG.

Sarkodie responded to the project by calling it the pinnacle of his musical career.

The rapper expressed his gratitude to the Marley family for choosing him for the project, expressing his excitement about this opportunity.

So later in the United Showbiz studios of UTV, Mr Logic stated that although the tune is only a refix, he would have preferred to hear some African flavour.

Meanwhile, It appears that things are not going well at Sarkodie and Samini’s camp after the latter openly rejected a fan’s request to collaborate on a project.

Samini, whose real name is Emmanuel Andrews Samini, has publicly stated that he will never work with rapper Sarkodie.

The president of the GIMPA SRC claims that he is unsure whether he will ever require a verse from renowned rapper Sarkodie.

He continued by saying that he would not be interested in working with Sark even if he ever sought him out. He gave Sarkodie’s reluctance to come to a firm decision as the justification for his stubborn attitude.

Furthermore, Samini asserted that while creating his Blazing EP, he asked Sarkodie about a feature.

Regrettably, Sarkodie, a.k.a. Michael Owusu Addo, was unsure of himself. My Project was delayed, he claimed, since he couldn’t say yes or no.
