Vocal powerhouse Simi claims her position with 29.9 million followers, while prolific skit maker Mark Angel captivates a substantial audience of 29.7 million followers.

Rounding off the top ten, actress Regina Daniels shines with 28.7 million followers, establishing a significant presence in the digital sphere.

These rankings were meticulously curated based on the cumulative followers from four prominent social media platforms: Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and TikTok.

US-based Nigerian singer and rapper, Darlington Okoye popularly known as Speed Darlington, has said many entertainers developed an interest in politics because of him.

He stated that since he revealed his intention to run for president, people like Tonto Dikeh, Mercy Johnson’s husband, Prince Okojie, and Regina Daniels, along with her husband, have become more politically involved.

In an online video, he stated that he does not know if they are attempting to copy him, but he is perplexed by the concept of everyone wanting to be a politician.
