Released on Friday, August 8, 2024, ‘Lungu Boy‘ features an impressive lineup, including Nigerian Afrobeats icon Wizkid, American rapper Travis Scott, Brazilian singer Ludmilla, and British rappers Stormzy and Central Cee.

Meanwhile, just hours after its release, ‘Lungu Boy’ soared to #2 on the United States Apple Music album chart. Additionally, Asake’s highly anticipated collaboration with Wizkid, “MMS,” made a stunning debut on streaming platforms, amassing over 121,000 streams on Spotify Nigeria within six hours of its release. This remarkable achievement earned the track a debut at #9 on the platform’s charts.

Notably, “MMS” is reportedly the first song in history to surpass 100,000 streams on Spotify Nigeria in such a short tracking period, highlighting the immense popularity of both Asake and Wizkid.
