Multi-talented Afro-pop musician, Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, known professionally as Adekunle Gold and AG Baby, has revealed the artists who co-wrote his “Catch Me If You Can” song.

The award-winning singer-songwriter had the help of his wife and a legendary Juju singer to create one of his songs.

The song, which was included on Adekunle Gold’s fourth studio album “Catch Me If You Can,” was co-written by Simi, a gifted singer and composer, and King Sunny Ade, a well-known Juju singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist.

AG Baby’s album “Catch Me If You Can” consists of 14 beautiful songs and features heavyweights Ty Dolla $ign, Stefflon Don, Fatoumata Diawara, Fousheé, Davido, & Lucky Daye.

Unexpectedly, four authors, including Adekunle Gold himself, contributed to the project’s last song, which was named after the album.

On Saturday 11th June 2022 the video of Afrobeats highlife star AG Baby performing an unreleased single in Canada was posted via social media.

The unreleased single has the singer blending dancehall melody with his trademark Afropop style. The Kel P produced single wowed concertgoers, who had the opportunity to hear an unreleased song from the sensational Afrobeats star.

The Sinner hitmaker who is currently touring the United States and Canada has teased his Afrobeats fans in both countries on what they can expect from more exclusive previews.

On Tuesday 1st of March, 2022, the Headies awards founder and Executive Producer Ayo Animashaun announced that the 2022 Headies will be leaving the shores of Nigeria.

In the Producer of the Year category of the 15th Headies Awards, P.Prime, Sarz, Pheelz, and others received nominations.

Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold also known as AG Baby has shared the creative process that resulted in the creation of his forthcoming single, Mercy in a new video shared recently.

He shared the video via his Instagram page on Monday, the 17th of January 2022.

The video AG Baby shared on his Instagram page shows the creative process for his new single, Mercy which drops later this week.

The Afro-fusion singer, Adekunle Gold whose last project, Afropop Vol. 1 was released in 2020, is set to thrill his fans with a new body of work which is scheduled to drop soon.

Recall, The singer had a successful year in 2021, landing a hit with the Davido-assisted High in the second half of the year.

With High doing wonders on the charts, the singer still featured on a song with DJ Tunez and the legendary Ashanti titled Energy. The Lucky Daye-assisted Sinner as well.

Adekunle Gold looks ready for a new album and he has wasted no time in giving his fans what they want, a title and release date.

The new album is titled Catch Me If You Can and will be released on the 4th of February next year.

In the video shared by AG Baby, he breaks down the creation process for Mercy even as he continues the anticipation towards its release.

The Award-winning Nigerian singer, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has hailed his colleague, Adekunle Gold also known as AG Baby for his ‘transformation’ and ‘smashing’ hits.

The African Queen crooner took to his Instagram story as he wondered if he was the only one that noticed the transformation and hit songs by Adekunle Gold.

Recall, AG Baby has been outstanding for the past three years, getting married to Simi in a close-knit ceremony in January 2019, and having a daughter in the last 2years.

The singer got fans talking in mid-2020 when he changed his physical looks and music style, following the release of his hit songs and collaborations including High (ft. Davido), Sinner (ft. Lucky Daye), Antidote, and a few others.

The legendary singer took his Instagram page to share his opinion towards AG Baby music lifestyle

He wrote:

 “I just want to assume that it’s only me that noticed that AG baby smashed the last two years with hits back to back; plus the maddest transformation. Abi I no well?”

In addition, Mp3bullet.ng reported that 2Baba dragged the government for supposedly wanting to borrow money to catch corrupt government officials on his Instagram storey, posting a snapshot of a newspaper cover.

The Federal Government earmarked the sum of N53, 614, 817, 760 to combat the menace of corruption in Nigeria during the 2022 fiscal year.

The Soul Train Awards which honours and celebrates African-American entertainers, will be presented on November 20, 2021, at the Apollo Theatre, and will be hosted by Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell, two top actors and comedians.

Nigerian pair Wizkid and Tems both received five nominations in the nomination list, which was revealed on November 2nd, 2021.

Four of them were for their smash hit “Essence,” which received nominations for Song of the Year, Video of the Year, The Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award, and Best Collaboration.

Then, for his legendary project Made In Lagos, Wizkid was nominated for Album of the Year, while Tems was nominated for Best New Artist.

H.E.R. leads the 2021 Soul Train Award nominations with eight, followed by prominent American singer and performer, Chris Brown, who has six, and Jazmine Sullivan, who also has six.

Adekunle Gold who recently collaborated with Davido on the song, turned to Instagram to express his thoughts on the tune and its production.

AG baby admitted that he had a nervous breakdown after writing the song. He said he had a feeling the song would be a hit after he completed writing it on January 21st, but he didn’t anticipate it to happen so quickly.

He shared a video of himself ‘misbehaving’ with Pheelz, the producer who created the song’s amazing beat.
