Meanwhile, Davido is gearing up to close out the year with his highly anticipated 5ive Tour across Nigeria.

The stadium tour, named after his fifth studio album, 5ive, will kick off in October, making stops in major cities including Uyo, Yola, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos.

Davido’s latest album, 5ive, features a stellar lineup of collaborators such as Omah Lay, Victony, Odumodublvck, Chike, Musa Keys, YG Marley, Victoria Monét, Chris Brown, and Becky G. The project has already produced fan favorites like Funds, Awuke, 10 Kilo, Offa Me, and With You.

Canadian superstar Drake is gearing up for the much-anticipated release of his album “For All the Dogs,” scheduled for September 22. In anticipation of this project, Lil Yachty’s “A Safe Place” podcast, featuring MitchGoneMad, offered more insight into what fans can anticipate from the upcoming LP.

As a close collaborator and friend of the Toronto native, Lil Yachty expressed his initial concerns regarding the cohesiveness of the album, especially considering the assortment of songs he had access to.

He shared, “It’s interesting. It’s coming together a lot better than I thought when I… I just had a talk with him a couple [of] days ago in Vancouver, and I was like, ‘Man…’ I was a little worried, ’cause I have a lot of the songs, I don’t have all of ’em, I have a lot of ’em though. And I was just like, ‘Man, I just don’t know if it’s… How are you gon’ put this together?’”

The rapper continued, “Because it’s a lot of great songs, but they don’t really…  In my brain, I was like, they didn’t really sound together. And then we had a talk about it, and he explained to me his thought process about it. And we drove somewhere, we drove to that video shoot which was like an hour away, and we listened to it, and it makes sense now.”

He continued to hint at the exploratory and occasionally contentious issues covered in the LP, which piqued viewers’ interest even more in the comments.

Yachty stated, “People gonna have a lot to say about some of his topics on this album. And I don’t think he does it on purpose. I think it’s just him — he just has a real… I will say he deals with some controversial things.”

The full lineup for San Francisco’s Outside Lands festival has been unveiled, and it features headliners like Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion and Lana Del Rey among others.

On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, the festival’s official Instagram account unveiled the entire schedule of performances, which includes over 50 performers.

This year’s lineup will also include Lil Yachty, Noah Kahan, Cigarettes After Sex, J.I.D., Interpol, Willow, Father John Misty and Tobe Nwigwe. The stacked lineup continues with Orville Peck, Beabadoobee, Soccer Mommy, Trixie Mattel and many more.

“When we started Outside Lands back in 2008, we had a vision to create a unique festival experience that had never been done before,” Allen Scott, co-founder of Outside Lands and president of concerts and festivals at Another Planet Entertainment, said in a press statement. “Fifteen years later, Outside Lands continues to be a bright spot for the city of San Francisco and pushes boundaries in music, food, drink, art and cannabis programming, as well as providing space for environmental and social initiatives.”

Outside Lands is set to celebrate its 15th anniversary from August 11 until August 13 at Golden Gate Park.

Tresor, a South African-Congolese singer-songwriter, producer, and businessperson, has once again collaborated on songs with Drake, a living legend.

The new track “We Caa Done” by Popcaan and Drake features Tresor once again as a co-writer and producer alongside his superstar producer Batundi.

The very gifted Batundi and the award-winning pop sensation previously worked with Drake on the wildly popular dance album “Honestly, Nevermind” from last year, co-writing six of the album’s songs. Prior to that, they worked with Drake to develop the popular song “Fountains” with Tems, which has an afrobeat influence.

A music video for the new tune was also released by Jamaican DJ and singer-songwriter Popcaan, who is affiliated with Drake’s OVO Sound record label.

Drake and Popcaan partied it up in a beach village in the video, which was shot in a location in the Turks and Caicos Islands and includes cameos from celebrities like Lil Yachty and NBA player Kevin Durant.

Drake’s longtime photographer Theo Skudra, who was responsible for several of his cover shots and music videos for tracks like “Nonstop,” “What’s Next,” and “When To Say When, Chicago Freestyle,” directed the video.

Additionally, Popcaan recently revealed his upcoming album, “Great He Is,” which will be his first since the release of his vocal album, “Mixtape,” in 2020.

He had already revealed the impending fifth studio album’s cover art and the tune in an Instagram teaser posted on Wednesday.

“New year, new Gear, new blessings, new money, new music! #GIHE,” the caption reads.

The L.A LIVE experience concert is to set the stage for the BET Awards that will hold few days after, July 23 precisely.

The concerts will be held June 20 through 22 with Minaj headlining on June 21, alongside stars: Lil Wayne, Tory Lanez, Trippie Redd and Bri Steves

Cardi B on the other hand will headline on June 22 with Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby and City Girls set to take the stage later on.

Sale of V.I.P. tickets for the BET Experience commenced Wednesday while general tickets will go on sale by Friday.

Lil Yachty is out with a new track titled ‘Who Want the Smoke?’ featuring Cardi B & Offset. Yachty previewed this song back in May from the studio where he was seen in company of BlocBoy JB, leading us to believe that it was a collaboration between the two artists.

Cardi delivers her verse in typical fashion, also subtly claiming that she’s the “king of New York.” Yachty is yet to announce a new solo album but he does have joint projects in the works with Takeoff, Trippie Redd and Lil Pump as well as a super group album with Migos & Gucci Mane. Only time will tell what sees the light of day ultimately.
