As Gamma expands its business in Africa, the Nigerian music industry renowned artist, Larry Gaaga, has been appointed as the organization’s newest (VC) vice president.

The choice by Gamma to increase its presence in Africa and the Middle East in May had a direct bearing on Larry Gaaga’s recruiting.

Sipho Dlamini, a South African music executive, will lead the new divisions as president, with Larry Gaaga serving as vice president.

Gaaga will bring a wealth of experience to his new position. Previously, he served as vice president of A&R at Def Jam Africa. The company will be based in Lagos.

“I am honoured and excited to take on the new role,” Gaaga said. “This presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of the entertainment industry across the continent. Promoting local talent and showcasing the incredible creativity and diversity of our artists to the world.”

Naomi Campbell, who is the special advisor to Gamma, added: “Artistic brilliance knows no bounds. Larry [Gaaga]’s appointment exemplifies the spirit of artistic empowerment. I am thrilled to have played a part in bringing his visionary talents to this artist-first platform.” Naomi has a deep love for afrobeats. She has a track record for putting Nigerians and their music in powerful spaces.

The company also named veteran Arab DJ, Dany Neville as vice-president of A&R, Middle East, and will be operating out of Dubai.

“Larry [Gaaga] and Dany’s extensive experience, deep understanding of the local music landscapes and relentless passion for nurturing talent are welcome additions to the Gamma family,” added Gamma. co-founder and CEO Larry Jackson. “Together, they will strengthen our market presence and drive significant growth across Africa and the Middle East.”

If there something Vector has proven excellent in is his ability to deliver hit motivational songs and “Mercy” is no different. Seyi Vibez brings his own magic into the equation making it a fully balanced meal fo the streets to gobble up.

Wow- Wizkid ft Naira Marley, Skepta

Big Wiz teams up with Marlian records lead singer, Naira Marley and rapper Skepta on his latest groove, Wow

As the title connotes, this is the first of its kind, and to be honest, this tune has got netizens talking! It is off Wiz’s latest fifth studio album, MLLE which houses 13 tracks.
