DJ Cuppy has stated that having access to wealth, like she does, does not guarantee happiness.

The music producer made the statement on Twitter while conversing with a fan.

She had hosted BBNaija Star, Kiddwaya to a session on Instagram where the two spoke on many issues revolving around their friendships, career and lives.

After she posted a link to the session on her Twitter, a fan took to the comments section to share what he learnt from their conversation.

The fan stated that simply because Cuppy ‘had it nice’ doesn’t indicate she won’t speak out about other challenges or difficulties she may be dealing with.

”It was actually an insightful session with Kidd, that you’ve it higher doesn’t imply you shouldn’t voice your displeasure,” the tweep wrote.

DJ Cuppy then responded by saying that she solely has it good ‘financially’ and even at that, it isn’t an assurance that one would have peace of thoughts or happiness.

She quoted the fan’s tweet and wrote;

The Disk jockey also stated that no matter how often her younger sister, Temi, whom she characterized as graceful and a fashionista, is compared to her, they will never look alike, despite the fact that they are from the same parents.

DJ Cuppy while speaking during an interview with the Pretty Little Thing podcast on Wednesday, explained that her personal relationship with Kiddwaya was affected while they were both acting in a British documentary-reality TV show, Highlife.

The two who appeared in the British documentary-reality TV show Highlife, had a falling out on set that harmed their friendship in real life.

The Oxford Master’s student said,

“That was really tough for me because it was real life. For the viewers that don’t really understand. I and my friend had a real falling out during highlife and that was on camera, which was okay but it was really tough because we actually fell out.

“I don’t really know how else to explain that. When you and your friend fall out, it’s not nice. It was difficult but Kidd is a great guy. He’s a superstar. There were some funny moments on the show.”

Sometime during the show, Cuppy had poured a glass of drink on Kiddwaya when he stated that her billionaire lifestyle was the reason she was single.

Reacting to the incident, she said,

“What would you do when a guy says, ‘I can see this is why you’re single?’ What do you do? And also, why is being single being used against me?

“He is single himself which is quite interesting. A guy being single in Nigeria is like ‘ohhh, you’re the man.’ I’m so sick of this patriarchy. It’s very difficult but what I would say is that I’m glad we made up. We’re fine now and I have so much respect for him.”

She said;

She acknowledged being harsh with him, claiming that she should have recognized his popularity as a friend.

In her words;

”Yeah, Kidd always said he… which freaks me out. Kidd always said he wants to be famous, so I probably should have picked up on that.

“And, I think that, I’ll admit, it’s difficult when you’re used to being a certain person in the room and I’m a human and I’ll say that and I think I’ll say that I was too hard on him, but I still don’t know what his job is.”
