Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, a controversial figure in the profession, sparked debate on social media when she recently linked the death of the late musician Mohbad to Afrobeats icon Davido.

Remember that singer Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27? His passing has continued to cause controversy due to shocking revelations made after his passing.

While Nigerians wait until today, February 6, 2024, for the results of the autopsy, and the late singer’s wife has not yet completed the DNA test as requested by his father, Kemi Olunloyo criticizes Davido in a post via her page on the well-known microblogging network X, formerly known as Twitter.

The much-awaited Grammy Awards are now over, Kemi Olunloyo says, telling Davido to present himself to the police and then share what he knows about Mohbad’s passing.

He continued by saying that the N2M Davido gave Mohbad’s father upon the singer’s passing was insufficient to buy the singer’s father peace.

He continued by saying that if she doesn’t, she will reveal the identities of those involved in Mohbad’s demise.

Kemi Olunloyo, a controversial journalist, has claimed that there was an attempt to kidnap prominent Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage.

In a post on her Instagram feed, the self-described investigative journalist made this disclosure.

On Thursday, April 13, 2023, Kemi Olunloyo alleged that an attempt was planned by Tiwa Savage’s domestic staff and several co-conspirators.

Kemi Olunloyo said that Tiwa Savage’s new driver had been providing information on the singer’s whereabouts to his accomplices who had been trailing the singer as she left home for days.

The kidnapping attempt, according to Kemi, was thwarted with the aid of vigilante-style private security, and everyone involved was turned over to the police at CID Alagbon in Ikoyi.

Kemi added that the police would shortly brief the media and reaffirmed that the single mother was fine and in isolation.

She wrote:

“Earlier today Thursday April 13th 2023, an attempt was made to KIDNAP Tiwa Savage in Lagos. A new domestic staff specifically a driver was passing information to his co-conspirators who have been trailing her as she left home for days. The guys have all been arrested with the help of vigilante style private security and they were handed to police at CID Alagbon in lkoyi. Celebrities be very careful and wary of your domestic staff at all times. Nigeria is very very dangerous these days. Dont post your children online or your home etc. Just post your WORK. The 55-year old social media personality took to her twitter page to make this rather unusual accusation.

According to her tweet, the incident occurred on the 20th of October 2018 while she was in North America.

She said a close pal of Davido’s contacted her,  explaining why Chioma Rowland had not posted on Instagram for a month in October 2018. The source said he Allegedly locked her account and in the middle of a breakup.

Performing her journalist duties, she went ahead and made a post about it.

This caused the angered the singer to threaten to sue.

Kemi alleged that Davido went ahead to disgrace, demean, and sexually harass her online.

The source said he ALLEGEDLY locked her account and in the middle of a break up. Days later the @thecableng posted something similar and David tweeted at them threatening legal action. As a reporter, I posted the allegations. What made Adeleke disgrace me in front of 20 million is what surprised me? An American citizen on US soil will never get away with that profane sexual harrassment encounter online. I was doing my job and nothing gave him the right to degrade, demean or sexually harass me. David gave his fans a license to follow suit. He later went to call me #werey cheap drug user. I asked him several times to apologise but he never did. My 3 sons were very angry. A year later October 20th one of the saddest days in my life on the same day he announced the birth of a son. I hope his daughters never have to experience what I went through. #Sexualharrasment goes beyond grades, promotion, jobs etc. It hurts EVERYONE.
