Nigerian Grammy-winning Afro-fusion artist Burna Boy and fast-rising sensation Ayra Starr are set to headline the 2023 Dreamville Festival alongside American music stars Drake, Usher, and J. Cole.

J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival has revealed its roster for one of the most eagerly awaited musical events of the festival this year via his social media page, after the news of its return in 2023.

Artists from all over the world are expected to perform at the festival, which will take place in Raleigh, North Carolina, from April 1-2 in Dorothea Dix Park.

On Saturday, April 1, Usher will be the featured performer along with Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, City Girls, Sean Paul, EarthGang, Jessie Reyez, Key Glock, SiR, Victony, and more artists.

Meanwhile, Sunday (April 2) features one of the world’s biggest international superstars Burna Boy, as well as a curated selection of artists like Summer Walker, J.I.D, GloRilla, Bas, Waka Flaka Flame, Mario, and many more.

The expanded two-day event will also mark a rare reunion for Dreamville Records as Cole is bringing together the entire music roster to perform at the weekend event including Ari Lennox, J.I.D, EARTHGANG, Bas, Cozz, Omen, and Lute.

J.I.D has taken to Instagram to accept Tory Lanez  rap challenge.

This is coming hours after the Dreamville artiste dissed Lanez for challenging his boss, J. Cole.

Lanez had in an Instagram live session stated that he wants to take out the entire Dreamville squad before he takes out J.Cole.

Also taking to a life session on the Gram, J.I.D accepted Lanez’s challenge, making sure to clarify that he had no issues with the rapper.

“I’ve been waiting on this. Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Jesus. The floodgates are open, n***a,” he said. “I’m about to go on the bus and record with a raspy ass voice — I don’t even know what I want to say about this n***a. I don’t look up — I don’t know him like that. I just went on tour with this n***a and I saw how he moves.”

“He’s not a bad guy. I’m not saying I don’t fuck with him. I fuck with Tory Lanez. I fuck with him, he’s a great artist. But, sorry. You went into uncharted territory,” he said. “You in some murky waters right now,” he said during the Instagram live session.

Recall that last week, Lanez  challenged J.Cole and Pusha T, saying that they could not a bar-to-bar with him.

This is coming after the rapper has repeatedly being flaunting himself as the ‘best rapper alive’

In response to Lanez’s  challenge, J.I.D took to his Twitter page to speak out for his Dreamville boss, accusing Lanez of trying to get close to Cole.

.He wrote: “Lol I went on tour w Tory Lanes in 2016 wen he just start losing his hair, 2018 this nigga got his hair back and start losing his mind,”

“Bruh just wana get close to cole but drop the records u bold balding brother @torylanez lol.”

In reply, Lanez challenged J.I.D to go bar-for-bar with him on a track.

“lolol you know you my lil brother … so I’m not gone diss u . but lets go on a song and bar out . and let the people decide who ripped it harder. and who has better bars . flows ETC . you can be first,” Tory wrote. “BUT then again if you wanna take the other route … we can do that too … go ahead and roll the dice,” he wrote.
