The Nigerian music producer Bello Emmanuel Adeshina, popularly known as Fresh VDM or Fresh VDM, revealed how he met Afrobeats Superstar Davido and the obstacles he faced.

Fresh is most recognized for producing Davido’s hit single ‘FIA,’ among other songs.

The renowned Togolese-born Nigerian beatmaker, who has worked with Dremo, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Davido, Ycee, and others, revealed that he encountered certain challenges before meeting OBO.

Speaking in an interview with Hip TV, Fresh revealed that DMW signee Dremo had always been his guy after he was introduced to the rapper by a friend.

He went on to state that he tagged along with Dremo when he got signed by Davido, adding that even though there were a lot of producers working with Baddest.

He stated that he did not see that as a discouraging factor, especially as he was encouraged to forge further by singer Ichaba.

Davido

Born on November 21, 1992, David Adedeji Adeleke (Davido – Stage Name), is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer.

His 2011 single “Dami Duro” was well-received throughout Nigeria.

Along with his elder brother Adewale Adeleke, Davido is the co-owner of HKN Music (a record label home to Sina Rambo, B. Red, and DeeKay) which he later left to form his own record label DMW.

Born on 24th March 1993, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel better known by his stage name Mayorkun is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, signed to the DMW label.

According to the information under the song on Mayorkun’s YouTube, the song, Let Me Know was released under the foreign label, Sony Music.

Dremo

Born on August 26, 1993, Aboriomoh Femi Raymond better known by his stage name Dremo.

He’s a Nigerian singer and songwriter who started music right from the young age of 12 years old and got signed to his first record label 3 years ago, A.P.P.E. Music Entertainment.

Dremo is signed to the DMW record label.

Ichaba

Ichaba whose real name is Mayowa Olusanya is a Nigerian Singer & SongWriter signed to the DMW record label, the Afro musician hail from Oyo state.

Ichaba made his first appearance on the big screen featuring on his label mate Dremo’s hit song titled “Normal Levelz”, as well as Chopstix’s “Sai Baba”.

He started singing professionally in the year 2015 when he signed with Appe Music Entertainment, and now signed to DMW

Liya

The talented musical artist, Liya was recently announced by Davido via his social media spaces as a new and first female musician he signed to Davido Music Worldwide.

In a post on both Twitter and Instagram, Davido calls Liya, the label’s FIRST LADY’, and promised to make her a global star.

When Nigerian music icon Davido signed Liya, a day after hearing her song in a Lagos nightclub, the trajectory of her life was effectively changed.

Yonda (born 1992) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter currently signed to Davido Music World record label (DMW).

Perruzi

Tobechukwu Victor Okoh born December 5, better known by his stage name PERUZZI is a Nigerian UrbanAfro Vibe recording and performing artiste.

He’s currently signed to Davido’s DMW Record label.

He loves creating music which was inspired when his dad got him a keyboard at a pretty young age (7).

He got his first studio shot in 2007 and has since then been recording, he attended Lerato Primary School, Egbeda, and went on to Command Secondary School, Ikeja, and graduated in (2007).

He gained admission shortly after to study Medicine and Surgery at Odessa State Medical Student.

Dj ECool

DJ Ecool is International DJ, host, and promoter who became known as Davido’s official DJ.

He’s held residencies at Arif Lounge and Queens, he’s worked with the likes of Wizkid, Doug E. Fresh, Sound Sultan, and Ludacris.

Idowest

Idowest whose real name is Adekunle Idowu is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter born on November 2, 1992, in Lagos State.

He was raised in Lagos Island where he became part of the local music gang known as MAFIA Gang. Idowest is a versatile artist that can flow on any beat.

His music genres range from Hip hop, R&B, and House music. In his artistic career, he works under the label of Davido Music Worldwide.

Idowest is DMW’s latest signee.
