The Guinness World Records plaque is delivered to Hilda Baci’s house in Lagos by a logistics company.

Baci shared a video of herself receiving her plaque on her verified Instagram page.

On June 13th, 2023, Hilda Baci receives congrats messages as the Guinness World Record declares her as the longest-cooking individual.

She beats Lata Tondon’s record of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds and sets a new one by cooking for 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci has taken to social media to express her pleasure about breaking yet another Guinness World Record.

A short while ago, We revealed that the Chef had broken a new record, which was announced by Guinness World Records via its official Twitter page.

Baci provides them with the highest-performing tweet in the company’s Twitter history since they began in 2008, according to Guinness World Records.

The tweet cited by Guinness World Records was the one in which they declared Chef Hilda Baci to be the person who has been cooking the longest.

25.8 million news feeds have seen the tweet, and it has received 85.8k retweets, 19.2k quotations, 217.2k likes, and 5,4111 bookmarks thus far.

Guinness World Records tweeted its appreciation for Hilda Baci’s new record, saying, “Yeah, so this is our best-performing tweet of all time with nearly 25 million news feeds reached.”

Hilda Baci responded to this approving tweet from Guinness World Records by reposting it on her own Instagram profile with the caption; “So we made a Record for @guinnessworldrecords I love my country Nigeria Thank you so much for supporting me in making history Naija to the 🌎.”

After setting a new record, Hilda Baci, a well-known Nigerian chef, received yet another incredible honor from Guinness World Records.

Recall, On June 13th, 2023, Mp3bullet stated that Chef Hilda Baci had been named the longest cook after her cookathon.

Hilda Baci, a native of Akwa Ibom State, cooked for 100 hours and 40 minutes, but according to a tweet from Guinness World Records, Hilda really smashes the record with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Recall, Mp3bullet reported that Hilda was officially recognized as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual on Tuesday by Guinness World Records.

Obi reacted on Twitter, saying Hilda had etched her “name in the golden books of history and has brought great honour to our nation.”

Mr. Macaroni recently congratulated Hilda Baci on his Instagram page and remarked that she continued to cook even after surpassing Lata Tondon’s record of 87 hours.

Mr. Macaroni added that even if  Guinness World Record (GWR) took away 7 hours, her resolve to reach 100 hours contributed to her setting a new world record.

The actor thanked Hilda and said she had motivated him to do more.

Mr. Macaroni, ever the comedian, declared that he will be setting his record for the longest period of time spent pursuing freaks, the Freak-A-Thon.

Hilda Baci, a well-known Nigerian chef, has spoken out after setting a Guinness World Record for the longest cook.

She was given the world record for the longest cooking by an individual by Guinness World Records today, June 13, 2023.

Recall, Mp3bullet stated Hilda began the cooking on May 11 and finished it on May 15, 2023, in the evening.

Baci, a 27-year-old from Akwa Ibom, breaks the Guinness World record and establishes a new one by cooking continuously for 100 hours.

However, according to a recent tweet from Guinness World Records, She beat the previous record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), clocking up at 93 hours and 11 minutes as opposed to 100 hours and 40 minutes.

As with all ‘longest marathon’ records, the person competing is allowed a five-minute break for every hour of nonstop exercise. If not taken, these rest pauses might build up. Hilda could only rest or use the restroom during those brief intervals.

In response to the tweet confirming that she has now been included in the list of Guinness World Records, Hilda via her verified Instagram page wrote; “Verified God Did !!!! @guinnessworldrecords.”

Hilda Baci’s official final time was reduced by over six hours, as stated by Guinness World Records.

Hilda was successful in winning the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking hour; however, Guinness World Record removed 6 hours from the 100 hours she cooked.

Hilda completed a 100-hour cook than in May 2023, but GWR recently recognized her for 93 hours and 11 minutes instead.

She is only permitted to take a 5-minute break after every hour of cooking, but it has been reported that Hilda took an additional 5-minute break during the first hour of the attempt.

In a broadcast via its verified Twitter handle, GWR explained the deduction thus:

“However, anyone attempting a marathon record receives five minutes break for every hour that they complete.

“This is to allow suitable rest breaks for the participants, due to the prolonged nature of these records. “In this case, there was a miscalculation when it came to Hilda’s rest breaks, meaning we are unable to award the 100 hours claimed.”

“Hilda attempted to set a record of 100 hours, however, almost seven hours were deducted from her final total because she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early on in the attempt.”

Guinness World Records wrote; “Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.”

The previous record holder, Indian chef Lata Tondon, broke it in 2019 and was exceeded by Hilda in 2023 after cooking for four days.

She cooked past the 87 hours and set a new record by going for up to 100 hours by 8 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023.

The contest was started by the Lagos-based chef at 4 p.m. on May 11.

Record breaker, Chef Hilda Baci is currently facing internet criticism after sharing a startling discovery about her cookathon.

The Akwa-Ibom born says in an interview with TV3 that she struggled much since she was on her period for the entire four days (100 hours and 40 minutes) of cooking.

As many argued that it is terrible to slaughter dogs that are used as pets in some areas of the world, Hilda Baci and influencer Enioluwa were both criticized for consuming dog meat just a few days prior. This may have affected her chances of setting the Guinness World Record.

Her monthly flow arrived early owing to stress, according to her, and her father was concerned about her since he knew how painful her period cramps could be.

In her words; “I was on my period the entire time and that made it extremely difficult and extra hard. What that meant was it took away from the time that I had to rest. “I was trying to rack up cause I get 5 minutes every time I completed 1 hour. So if I stand for one hour I had 5 minutes to rest. And I still had to do my medical checks. God bless my medical team. They were on ground.

I had to take a shower every time I got a break since I was on my period. If I just had 30 minutes, I had to take a shower since I needed to change.

“My dad was worried because I have horrible cramps. Like really horrible cramps. So pushing through that means I can conquer things in this life.”

The graduate, who is 27 years old, made the remark during a conversation on the FK Abudu and Jollz-hosted podcast I Said What I Said.

Hilda claims that some others were unhappy because they believed Hilda was “too blessed” in terms of her beauty, success in her work, and attractive figure.

The chef said; “There were a lot of ‘It’s not fairs’, like, ‘how can only her be fine, be hot, ah ah. How can only her have all these things? That’s not how life is.”

She denied paying for publicity and said that only grace could have made that possible.

She added that the huge outpouring of support, with people turning up every day until she finished her 100-hour cooking marathon, is something that no one can plan or pay for.

“The PR that we invested in, how much, how many was it? The kind of earned media that the attempt got, you can not pay for it. You can’t plan for it, you can’t pay it. It’s grace. You can only hope,” Hilda said.
