Olamide can blend with any artiste easily, no matter the genre, style or tempo as he showed it in Carpe Diem, and now he has shown it again in UY Scuti.

As he continues to strive and diversify into other genres, diving into almost every genre, from afrobeat, juju, fuji, Street hop, Dancehall, R&B, Trap, Reggae Fusion and Afro Pop.

He is fond of introducing a particular theme or wave, defining the direction of the project, cohesiveness and assimilation, just like Wizkid, Olamide is a risktaker and uses his artistry flexibility ability to adapt to changes swiftly.

Olamide talks about reality and hustles on ‘Need For Speed’ a deep ballad on a slow tempo with conscious lines, using Do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti, do rhythms and relatable Lagos situation flows.

Jailer feat. Jaywillz (Track 2)

The chemistry between Olamide and Jaywillz on “Jailer” is incredible, Olamide just has to shoot a video for that particular song for more push, that’s another potential hit.

The addictiveness of the track is out of this space, Jaywillz understood the assignment and Olamude complimented him perfectly.

Rock (Track 3)

Rock is the official single off the “UY Scuti” album, a smash hit songs currently impacting the space of most music markets around the world, a groovy feel-good vibe and a heavy baseline and percussions that blends in between.

Julie (Track 4)

Julie sampled Gyptian’s ‘Hold Yuh’ twisted instrumental, ushering in a stellar Caribbean flow from Olamide as he balances the ambience and slow tempo beat with a relaxed ballad that syncs seamlessly to the sound.

The female sexy background vocal transitioned with the beat and complimented the song, Olamide goes hard in the lyrics of the short track.

Rough Up feat. Layydoe (Track 5)

Layydoe understood the assignment as she spiced it up with some fire patois, giving a typical Cynthia Morgan‘s vibe.

Want feat. Fave (Track 6)

This is one of the most captivating tracks iff the album, a feel-good tropical love vibes, Fave brought out her A-game into the track, a Caribbean vibe also.

Pon Pon feat. Fave (Track 7)

It usually sounds like a continuation of ‘Want’ and seems to be intentionally arranged on the tracklisting, different song but the same frequency wavelength and almost the same vibe.

Fave is an amazing artist and she just proved herself in both songs.

Somebody feat. Phyno ( Track 9)

Phyno and Olamide basically switched it up on this track, two prolific rappers deflected on singing perfectly like original singers, it is quite commendable and applaudable to have them deliver so well on the track.
