Once known for his vocal and confrontational presence online, Cassper Nyovest, also known as Mufasa, made a significant announcement in 2023, declaring his acceptance of God into his life. Since then, a notable shift towards advocating peace has characterized his social media interactions.

In a recent Twitter post, Cassper candidly admitted to his previous inclination towards engaging in online disputes, driven by a desire to retaliate against those who caused him distress. However, he has since realized that such behaviour serves no purpose.

“I used to engage in countless battles on this platform. I intended to inflict the same pain I endured and diminish others. But I’ve come to understand the futility of it,” Cassper expressed.

Meanwhile, in a display of profound humility and empathy, Cassper extended forgiveness to his adversaries, acknowledging their humanity and urging for compassion. “To all those who have thrown insults and criticism my way, I forgive you. After Kiernan, alias Forbes, died two months ago, Nadia Nakai talks about her relationship with God. The two were deeply in love with one another, but on February 10th, Forbes was murdered in Durban.

On social media, Bragga has expressed her suffering, rage, and other feelings. On Wednesday, Nadia acknowledged God and expressed her reliance on him on Twitter.

“Even in my pain, I see God so much. God knows my anger, but even in that, I know he’s got me & always has. I see it! I’ve never been more spiritually awake than I am now! I’m leaning in fully! How can I not? I lost the closest person to me & he is there, no way I can turn my back,” she wrote.

The Megacy ran a Twitter chat where they discussed the rapper and showed support for the family he left behind.

Tshego relates how AKA helped him strengthen his relationship with God. AKA’s passing was lamented by many, and several people have paid tribute to the late musician on numerous social media platforms.

The Supa Mega not only influenced and touched the souls of many, but he also helped other SA rappers succeed in the music business.

The Pink Panther thanked AKA for his 13 years of service to the game on Instagram.

“Just the other day we laughed about how 13 years ago you performed at a gig for us and it only cost a bottle of Jameson and gas money. For 13 years you’ve been solid with me no matter where I was or who I was with. 13 years dog.” Wrote Tshego.

Additionally, Tibz AKA’s companion, who also died in the horrible incident on Friday night in Durban, received tribute from Tshego.

“To everyone that lost a piece of their heart that night, I’m so sorry. All I can say now is I love you my brother, and I’ll see you, Tibz, and everyone else again someday. Long Live Supa Mega.”

The SA hip-hop industry has benefited from the collaboration of Tshego and AKA. The two collaborated on the song “Chopping,” which was well-received when it came out.

Before becoming an independent artist, Tshego was on the opposing side and collaborated with Cassper, but that did not affect his friendship with AKA.

Mr Music took to his Instagram page to publicly revealed his departure from Kalawa Jazmee Records earlier yesterday posting that

“Expiry of artists agreement between dangerous combination crew records trading as Kalawa Jazmee Records and Mr Music. I refer to the artist agreement concluded between me and Dangerous Combination Crew Records t/a Kalawa Jazzmee Records on 25 January 2021”

“This notice confirms that I am no longer signed as an artist as of 13 December. I have fulfilled my minimum commitment in terms of the agreement and I’m free to enter into any third-party agreement for the sale, exploitation and/or distribution of future recordings. I am grateful for the opportunity of working with Kalawa Jazmee”

Mr Music who reportedly survived a terrible accident is glad for life and was so grateful to God for the gift of a second chance.

On October 31, the former Idols SA star was travelling with his brothers from Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, to Johannesburg when they were involved in a car accident.

The artist recalled the incident and said he was waiting for the green light at a traffic signal when a truck driver who he believes was intoxicated crashed the side of his car and attempted to get away.

“The truck came out of nowhere, I tried to even chase after him since my car was in the ignition and he was trying to run away. It was smelling of fuel, but I wanted to know who is doing this to me. The left front tire got off but we survived. We’re alive. To God, be the glory. I’m grateful to be alive”

He claimed that nobody was hurt.

“Thank God I’m OK, I don’t know how I survived that but my brothers and I are fine.”
