The Minister of State for Labour and Employment Festus Keyamo has received a verbal reprimand from Nigerian rapper, Vector for questioning the PDP’s justification for its protest of the election results.

He responded to a tweet made by the minister, who also serves as a spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, in which he asked to know why the opposition People’s Democratic Party planned to launch a protest against the outcome of the presidential election.

Dino Melaye, a former senator, urged PDP members to get ready for a protest in response to Bola Tinubu’s victory as president-elect.

Keyamo reacted by speculating as to why they were protesting—namely, whether or not they wanted the entire election to be nullified.

The minister wrote:

“I understand PDP is planning a protest. Question: are they also protesting that LP rigged in the areas where LP won? Are they saying @officialABAT should not have won the South West? Are they calling for cancellation of areas they won in the North? What really are they saying?.”

Vector quoted his tweet and wrote; “One more question? Are you an idiot?”

Earlier, Festus Keyamo in reaction to Eedris’ recently released track, Jaga Jaga Reloaded claimed that the rapper actually begged to be part of Buhari’s campaign in 2018.  The minister dropped the text messages Eedris sent to him.

Eeedris in response to these accusations accused Keyamo of joining the cabal and went on to explain how he stood by the minister when he was in prison.

The Rapper added that when his mother was sick, he reached out to Keyamo for help and he refused even though he could have done something.

According to him, the minister was so wicked that he kept screenshots of personal details for three years. The rapper said that was the ‘real hallmark of a blackmailer’.

Further in his rant, Eedris said he still had hope in Keyamo to effect change in the government, then he joined the cabal. The rapper called Keyamo a Senior Advocate Blackmailer of Nigeria and said he went to the studio with annoyance to record Jaga Jaga reloaded.

In his words: “The Blackmailer said I recorded a song for Buhari. The said song is titled : “Obasanjo Write Buhari Letter”. Here is the link to that song, listen and you will phantom the deviousness and dubiousness of the evil SAN (Senior Advocate Blackmailer of Nigeria) called Festus Keyamo.”

Abdulkareem then said that Keyamo has ambitions to become the governor of Delta state and joined the cabal.

He wrote:

“Festus Keyamo don join the cabal. He is in pains because his next ambition is to be governor of Delta State.”

In a series of Tweet that had screenshots of text messages between him and the Jagajaga crooner, the minister revealed that Eedris who now condemns President Muhammed Buhari so much earlier in 2018 wanted to join the president’s campaign train.

He narrated that in 2018 when he was the director of strategic communications for the campaign, the musician released a song to support the president’s second term and asked to listen to it.

According to the minister, he told Eedris there was no financial budget to bring him, adding that his job as a coordinator was on a voluntary basis.

Festus went ahead to say that he begged him that he needed N3 million to pay for his hotel and that his mother was sick too.

The minister said after finding out that the musician had told people different stories with the aim of getting money from them, he stopped seeing him.
