Big Brother Naija 2017 winner, Efe Money has revealed he has changed his stage name to Stubborn Boy.

He asked followers on his Instagram page to avoid calling him Efe or Efe Money moving forward since he would no longer go by those titles.

The rapper decided to share a video of him saying that anywhere people see him they should definitely address him as Stubborn Boy.

Efe wrote in the caption; ”PSA: henceforth pls address me as STUBBORN BOY… thank you.”

He won’t be the first artist to announce a change of his name. Wizkid also goes by Biz Wiz, BNXN used to go by the name Buju until February of 2022.

Several other artists like Ladipoe, Santino, 2Baba, and Kizz Daniel, among others have also changed their names.

The former Big Brother Naija contestant had threatened to hit Noble Igwe, in his most recent song, which he dedicated to the social media influencer.

The winner of the reality TV show is the second season announced this in his most recent song, which he dedicated to the social media influencer.

Efe countered Igwe’s claims insisting that he gave the organisers of the reality TV show, reasons why he couldn’t show up for the show.

He alleged that Igwe has been bullying him on social media for years without any concrete reason.

In the video, the singer reiterated his statement that he would one day win a Grammy but this time he made it a promise.

Efe has since released a flurry of songs, including Based On Logistics, which became a slang term, Babaloke with Oritsefemi, Warri with Olamide, and a repertoire that includes three albums.

White Money

The outspoken British-accented housemate was difficult to overlook, as she won over viewers with her matter-of-fact demeanor, as well as the music business with the publication of her debut EP, Young and Reckless, in recent months.

Her previous song, Show, proved to listeners that the sultry R&B vocalist was worth her weight in vocal gold.

Cross

The BBNaija finalist, also known as ‘Cross DaBoss,’ entered the contest with a burst of enthusiasm and emotion, which he quickly channelled into music with his lively and energy-filled Ajebutter 22-featured Feeling Funky.

Saskay

Saskay was one of two housemates that presented a strong case for the Gen Zs’ power.

She was dubbed “art” because of her grasp of numerous artistic interests and was outspoken about her love for hip hop, which she put to the test on her debut single, 5Quad.

Liquorose

With members Ellaley and E4ma, she is one of three dancers in the Girls Got Bold collective.

The trio had previously expressed their intention to break into the music industry as artists.

While Liquorose was in the Big Brother house, the trio released their first single Vibes on September 23rd, with Liquorose performing the rap lines on the Afropop track.

Khafi

After her time in the BBNaija house, she went on to become a former officer of the law in London, but by that time, the effervescent Ekiti native had won over many viewers of the show.

Efe was responding on how he believes Laycon, who is also a musician, will do in the industry after winning the most recent edition of the popular reality show, just like he (Efe) did in the second.

When asked during an interview on TVC,

“What are your thoughts on people going to Big Brother Naija to push their works. Do you think it’s a good idea to come out singing or do you think it’s better to take up acting or some other thing?”

He replied;

“Okay let me break it down for you like this. Big Brother is a lifestyle brand, it’s a lifestyle audience. So the mistake most of us as artistes make is to think that when we go there, you’ll be able to get your music heard to these lifestyle guys.

These lifestyle guys, they don’t care about your music. They just want to see you dress, travel out, date who you want to date, cause fracas and chaos on social media. You be a proper entertainment tool to them but not the other way, they consuming your music.

To come out and think you can easily convert these guys to love your music, they don’t care about your music. They only care about the top three or four popping artistes because those ones their music is already merged with their lifestyle cuz the music has been successful, so now if they give you lifestyle, it’s key.

So that’s the mistakes most of we artistes do. When you come out, you’re now facing a new challenge – how to balance the lifestyle that they want to see and the music. But they are more interested in the lifestyle because they only see you competition as the fellow housemates while you being an artiste, you know your competition is with the music artistes.

So you’re keying into ‘oh I want to be in the studio, I want to record, I don’t have time to give these people lifestyle, I don’t have that time’ – it pisses them off, they begin to judge you as a failure. You get the concept.

So I’ll just say that as an artiste, if you want to go in there, just go in there because maybe it’s going to uplift your level. I’m not bashing it, it actually changed my life. But music wise, it more or less is where I stopped is where I’m picking from.”

Efe Micheal Ejemba, best identified as Efe finally unveils the date, tracklist, and artwork to his forthcoming project titled, “Against All Odds.”

The Warri-born singer and actor took to his Instagram page to reveal this news.

According to him, the project is set for release on the 27th of August and features top music artistes such as; BOJ, and rapper Ice Prince.

Furthermore, he has Victor Thompson who graces his vocals on his lead single on the project.

Likewise, producers, Philkeys, Raynstorm, Tropical, and others made the beats for the tracks on the Ep. Lastly, the body of work welcomes 7 tracks.

Laycon

He also became the season’s winner and was enlisted by DJ Neptune for the remix of his hit song, “Nobody”.

Rico Swavey

Patrick “Rico Swavey” Fakoya is a housemate in Big Brother Nigeria 3. Rico is a singer and rapper.

Teddy A

Tope Adenibuyan popularly known as Teddy A was part of the BBNaija season 3 cast in 2018. Teddy is a music producer/singer who lasted for 9 weeks on the show and gained quite a lot of fans in the process.

He now owns a record label called Alpha Records.
