Olamide

Since his inception to Stardom in 2011 with Rapsodi – 2021’s UY Scuti, the veteran rapper & singer Olamide has been delivering albums/projects consistently. Not one year goes by and Olamide doesn’t have it all for his fans!

Currently topping as one of the hottest Nigerian artistes with the most albums or EPs, there is every possibility of getting another project in the year 2022.

Davido

This is another Afro legend whose career is at its peak. So far, Davido has released three studio albums with two extended plays.

Going by the success of ‘A Better Time‘ which he released in 2020, Davido’s fans have been hoping for another splendid project, however, the singer failed to give them this year.

Although, in August, Mp3bullet reported that the singer talked about dropping a project in conjunction with his tour preparations details before December runs out.

As it is, no further announcement has been made since then, thus the reason we have predicted Davido has something cooking for 2022.

Asa (Nigerian artistes album 2022)

Asa is one of the few Nigerian Alte singers who has paid her “dues”. Her success story started off from her 2007 Asa album, since then she has been at the steady balance of the top-tier squad.

Not really in the competitive crew, Asa has her own fan base whose love for her art cannot be matched!

After her LUCID project of 2019, Asa has had a break from the mainstream, causing the long-distance relationship between her music & fans.

Now, she is one of the top Nigerian artistes to have a project for her fans in the forthcoming year.

In an interview with media personae, ‘Ebuka’, Asa revealed the appropriate details of the project.

The body of work which will also be her fifth studio album would be titled “five” and will be released in early 2022, probably in January or February, she said.

The Jonzing-activated singer also falls on our prediction list. Having to postpone his debut album for three years now, he teases about the album once more.

However, he shared the title of the project some months back stating; ‘Rave & Roses‘.

His fans hope next year will be the checkmate to this postponement, and get served their favorite’s debut project.

Naira Marley

Marlians should gear up for a jolly 2022 because their president has made the announcement of his first studio project titled, ‘God Timing Is The Best’.

Although, no specific date has been revealed, however, he has released the lead track off the project – First Time In America.

Simi

In August, Simi jokingly told her fans there will be no project till 2022. Her reasons were because; “I’ve used all the songs I should have put on my album to do lullaby for Deja. So no album until 2022 ”, she said.

Now, 2022 is around the corner, fans are hoping she keeps to her promise and serves them a soothing project.
