Musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, has shared a vision of himself that his father, Deji Adeleke, told him about.

The “OBO” crooner claimed that his father had told him in a vision that he would become a gospel musician in the end. During a conversation with a few guests at his wedding on Tuesday, Davido revealed this.

“In the morning, daddy would say, ‘Davido, I had a vision about you.’ I said, ‘What vision?’ He said, ‘I had a vision that you ended your music as a gospel singer’,” he said.

Remember when dignitaries from all walks of life attended Davido’s wedding at the Eko Hotel and Suites? They included his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, as well as his equivalents from Abia State and Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Alex Otti. The others are HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, Udom Emmanuel, the former governor of Akwa Ibom State, and former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Following the release of the visually stunning “Na Money” by Davido, popular TV host Ebuka made a special request to the singer regarding the next music video he should release. “Na Money,” featuring The Cavemen and Mama Africa Angelique Kidjo, surprised fans with its release on Monday, December 18, 2023, showcasing Davido’s positioning as a leading figure in Afrobeats.

After enjoying the visuals for “Na Money,” Ebuka, known as the host for Big Brother Naija, took to his social media platform to request that Davido release the music video for his hit song “For The Road,” also from the same project.

Ebuka’s post on social media read, “Yo @davido, give us ‘For The Road’ visuals abeg.”

Colleagues who were housemates with him confirmed his death on various social media platforms on Thursday.

Nigerian singer and rapper Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has revealed why he chose to undergo his tertiary education at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

The singer made the revelation while speaking to media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, in Rubbin’ Minds show, televised on Channels TV and monitored by our correspondent.

According to Rema, he chose to study at UNILAG because, despite his music career, he was mostly based in Lagos.

When asked why he made the decision, Rema said, “Because I live here mostly; in Lagos.”

The singer has given full gratitude to his fellow singer Tekno for revitalizing his career at the moment when he needed it the most.

According to Davido, he didn’t have any hit songs for almost a year until Tekno came along and brought him back to the spotlight.
