Among the notable performers from the United States are Ice Spice, Gunna, Offset, Don Toliver, Ski Mask The Slump God, Lil Tjay, Sexyy Red, and Chief Keef. Representing the United Kingdom are acts such as K-Trap and Unknown T.

Rolling Loud co-founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif expressed their enthusiasm for the festival’s return to Europe, highlighting the fervent support of fans at their previous European shows and anticipating a continuation of that energy in Austria.

Since his breakthrough into the mainstream in 2019 with his debut album ‘Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps’, Fireboy has enjoyed remarkable success, contributing significantly to the global prominence of Nigerian music.

In a recent interview with BET, the award-winning artist provided insights into his innovative Afro-Life genre, which he describes as a fusion of Afrobeats with added levels of soul and depth.

Fireboy expressed that while Afrobeats music has always been captivating, he felt it lacked a certain depth and lyricism. He believes his music brings a new dimension to Nigerian mainstream pop music with his Afro-Life genre, injecting soulful elements and meaningful lyrics into the vibrant soundscape of Afrobeats.

“The Afrobeats scene before I came in, has always been beautiful. It was built on vibes and energy and percussion and instruments and everything. But I realized that there was something lacking, and that was pure soul and lyricism in our music. That was what I brought into the game. And I figured if you’re bringing something new to the table, it needs a name. That’s why I call it Afro-Life — it’s Afrobeats that has some depth to it.”

Rolling Loud is set to return to Inglewood’s Hollywood Park Grounds from March 15 to 17, 2024, and the lineup for the festival has been revealed. Nicki Minaj will be the opening headliner on Friday, March 15, with Rae Sremmurd, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Lil Tecca, Sexyy Red, Anycia, and a joint performance by YG and Tyga.

Rema’s “Calm Down” climbs two positions to No. 3 on the most recent UK Official Singles Chart (02 June 2023 – 08 June 2023), moving up from No. 5 the previous week. The song has been in the charts for 40 weeks and previously peaked at No. 4.

‘People‘ by Libianca, which is in its 22nd week on the chart, falls four spots to No. 28. Rush by Ayra Starr, which is now in its 19th week on the chart, dips two positions to No. 43.

It has been revealed that Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, will be on the Spider-Verse Soundtrack, which is also known as Metro Boomin’s Spiderman Soundtrack.

Wizkid will be joining some of the biggest names in music to release the soundtrack for the upcoming Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse film from Marvel.

Metro Boomin has revealed that Afrobeats superstar Wizkid will appear as a guest feature on the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack after first revealing that he will be executive producing it.

This is notable for the artist himself, who had recently performed as the main act at the Afro Nation Festival 2023 in Miami.

On the 3oth of May 2023, The award-winning producer made the announcement in a post via his Twitter page. He had previously announced other featuring artists including Future, Don Toliver, and Offset.

This will be Metro Boomin and Wizkid’s third collaboration, following ‘Borrowed Love‘ (also featuring Swae Lee) and ‘Only You‘ (with Offset and J Balvin). The Spiderman Soundtrack will be released on June 2nd.
