Hip-hop mogul and superstar producer DJ Khaled has officially announced his 14th studio album, ‘AALAM OF GOD,’ for release in 2025.

Taking to social media, Khaled declared that this project is far from his last, referring to it as his “black album” in homage to JAY-Z’s legendary project.

He explained the album’s title: “AALAM MEANS THE WORLD. WORLD OF GOD!”

As always, Khaled hyped fans up with his signature energy, proclaiming, “GOD IS LOVE! GOD IS UNITY! WE THE BEST!”

He also teased major features, confirming that Drake is back in the studio, possibly working on not one but two collaborations with him.

Khaled even put out a call to Rihanna, saying: “I JUST WANNA BREATHE – THE AIR THAT RIHANNA BREATHES!”

With his longtime creative partner Kodak Lens capturing the journey, Khaled emphasized that time waits for no one—this album is needed NOW.

Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Davido is set to headline the kick-off event for the UnitedMasters music platform’s Grammy weekend. Prominent American disc jockey and music executive DJ Khaled has openly shared his newfound inspiration from Afrobeats, stating that he has been feeling creatively inspired and finding a spiritual connection akin to that of dancehall.

The renowned ‘Another One‘ artist disclosed this during a recent interview with Rolling Stone, where he also revealed that Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy will be featured on his forthcoming 14th studio album, ‘Til Next Time,’ scheduled for a 2024 release.

DJ Khaled expressed his interest in collaborating with Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated Nigerian singer Tems, whose real name is Temilade Openiyi.

During the interview, Khaled mentioned that his parents occasionally jest about him running for president, but he clarified that he has never harbored any genuine interest in pursuing a political career.

“As far as politics, I never got into it,” he said. “It’s a never-ending conversation of back and forth. There’s never an answer. I’d rather be the person that focuses on the solution of being good at all times, working hard, and spreading that love because you can do that.”

Following some controversy caused by his previous tweet, Blaqbonez has offered his sincere apologies to his University of Ibadan supporters.

The musician had tweeted that he would not be attending an event at the university, but some people still believed he would be there.

In a following tweet, Blaqbonez apologised for any perceived insensitivity and made a commitment to developing something for the university’s fans.

“My people in University of Ibadan, I’m sorry that my tweet seemed insensitive, I already told everyone involved I wasn’t going to be coming, then I came online to people still thinking i was coming, and i just thought to tell you guys i wasn’t going to be showing up

“I should have said it better but when have i ever done something like a normal person?

“My apologies guys, working on something for you guys if you’d still have me,” he tweeted.

In other news, Blaqbonez used social media to mock musicians that release new music the same day he reveals his own projects.

Blaqbonez criticised Kanye West, DJ Khaled, Ariana Grande, Drake, Davido, and Asake for releasing music on the same day as his prior announcements in a video he posted on his social media platforms.

“In 2020 when I announced my ‘Mr Bombastic’ album, Kanye West decided he was gonna drop the same day,” he began.

“In 2021, when I announced my ‘Sex Over Love’ album, DJ Khaled and Ariana Grande decided they were going to drop the same day.

“The year after that, I decided to announce my ‘Young Preacher’ album, Drake decided he was going to drop his album the same day.

“A year after that, I announced March 31st, Davido decided he was going to drop the same day.

The Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez, who bills himself as the “Best Rapper in Africa,” has resorted to social media to mock musicians who release new songs on the same dates when he drops his own projects.

Blaqbonez criticised Kanye West, DJ Khaled, Ariana Grande, Drake, Davido, and Asake for releasing music on the same day as his prior announcements in a video he posted on his social media platforms on Thursday.

“In 2020 when I announced my ‘Mr Bombastic’ album, Kanye West decided he was gonna drop the same day,” he began.

“In 2021, when I announced my ‘Sex Over Love’ album, DJ Khaled and Ariana Grande decided they were going to drop the same day.
