The dispute has intensified in recent weeks, with the artists publicly raising questions about the management of their earnings, contracts, and music catalogs during their time with the executive.

Responding to the claims in a series of posts on X, Dapper maintained that he had no reason to conceal any information and said the relevant documentation had already been made available to the authorities handling the matter.

“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth.”

While he did not address each allegation individually, the music executive appeared confident that the available records would provide clarity and determine what transpired between the parties.

Dapper also rejected suggestions that his former artists were forced out of their working relationships with him. Instead, he argued that they made the decision to leave voluntarily and accused them of presenting what he considers misleading accounts of their experiences.

The response follows serious claims from Shallipopi, who alleged that royalties connected to 46 songs were withheld. The singer also accused Dapper of allegedly forging his signature on a 10-year distribution agreement.

Seyi Vibez, meanwhile, raised a separate financial complaint, alleging that revenue generated from his work was used to fund the signing of other artistes.

Despite the escalating back-and-forth, Dapper indicated that he would rather allow the matter to be resolved through the appropriate process than engage in a public exchange of insults.

“So much to say, but so few ways to say it,” he added, suggesting that his long-standing passion for music was one reason he remained restrained despite the controversy.

With allegations from both sides now in the public domain, attention is likely to remain on the records and any formal process that may ultimately clarify the financial and contractual issues at the centre of the dispute.
