    Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, popularly known as the Nigerian Rapper Phyno, has denied having sickle cell disease.

    This occurs when a fan claimed on the microblogging website that the rapper had sickle cell disease.

    The fan wrote, “Since I heard Phyno has sickle cell the love tripled, I pray God grants him the strength to keep fighting.”

    In response to the tweet, Phyno wrote, “Lol. No, I’m not a sickle cell. Love to everyone fighting it tho.”

    Sickle cell anaemia is a type of genetic blood condition that affects the red blood cells, causing them to change from flexible round discs into hard, gooey sickle cells.
