Ghanaian Afro-fusion artist Burzy NY released a powerful new single titled “Existential Crisis.” This song is not just for dancing or background noise.

It is a song that makes you stop, listen, and think. Burzy NY uses music to ask questions many people are afraid to ask out loud, especially young people who are still trying to understand life.

With influences from Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Sarkodie, and The Beatles, Burzy NY blends Afro-fusion and alternative sounds to create something emotional, calm, and honest.

Even though the topic is deep, the song is easy to understand, making it relatable for listeners of all ages, including a 15-year-old girl who may be wondering about her place in the world.

Music That Matches the Feeling

One of the strongest parts of Existential Crisis is its lyrics. The song feels like someone reading pages from their private journal. Burzy NY openly talks about confusion, fear, and the pressure of existing in a world that never slows down. He sings:

“I’m always wondering, wondering, how?
Life is like a drumbeat”

This line shows how life keeps moving fast, even when you feel lost inside. He continues with questions many people quietly ask themselves:

“Who am I really? Where’s my place in the universe?
Do we really matter? Why can’t we live forever?”

These words are simple but powerful. They show a young man searching for meaning, identity, and purpose. Later in the song, the emotion becomes even heavier:

“Existential feeler gripping my soul
Why are we here? I don’t know
So many questions; I’m losing control”

These lyrics clearly describe what it feels like to be overwhelmed by thoughts, especially during moments of sadness or depression.

The production of Existential Crisis is calm, soft, and emotional. It does not try to be loud or flashy. Instead, it gives space for the lyrics to breathe. The beat feels slow and thoughtful, allowing listeners to focus on the message. The Afro-fusion sound connects the song to Burzy NY’s African roots, while the alternative style gives it a modern and global feel.

This balance makes the song feel honest and real, not forced. It sounds like Burzy NY is talking directly to the listener, not trying to impress anyone.

According to the official release, Existential Crisis was written during a very difficult time in Burzy NY’s life, when he was dealing with depression and inner struggles. Instead of hiding his pain, he turned it into music. This is important, especially in places where mental health is not often talked about.

The song encourages people to be more understanding and caring. It reminds listeners to check on friends, notice changes in behavior, and create safe spaces where people can talk about how they feel without being judged.
