After stating that Jesus Christ was the person she was alluding to in her blockbuster song “Somebody’s Son,” Tiwa Savage has teasingly revealed additional information about how an angel inspired the song.

Recall that during her performance at the BudXLagos FIFA Kick-Off Concert at the Eko Hotel in Lagos, Tiwa, one of the main acts, halted to explain the meaning of the song to her audience.

In contrast to the widespread perception that she was looking for a man, the Nigerian music sensation who collaborated with American artist Brandy on the hit song said she was referring to Jesus Christ and that everyone was looking for him.

Numerous fan reactions were elicited by the video, and a sizable portion of social media users found the singer’s assertion to be humorous.

American Singer, Brandy has promised to “murk” Jack Harlow in rap after he revealed that he is unaware that she and Ray J are siblings.

Last week, rapper Harlow was interviewed on Hot 97 in the United States and said that he had no idea the two artists were related.

The “First Class” rapper was asked to identify the vocalist behind the 1998 song “Angel in Disguise” during a game section of the conversation.

After Harlow misidentified Aaliyah as the singing voice on his initial attempt, host Ebro attempted to elucidate the situation by referring to the singer as Ray J’s sister.

Who’s Ray J’s sister?” a confused Harlow replied.

After the interview was posted online, people on social media expressed their surprise and amusement at Harlow not knowing of the famous siblings’ relationship.

Late on Monday (16 May), the “Full Moon” vocalist weighed in on the rapper’s pop culture faux pas with a message of her own

P-Square collaborated with Akon, a prominent American-Senegalese artist, on a remix of their song “Chop My Money.” This song was included on their fifth studio album, “The Invasion,” and was released in 2011.

He sang the part which says “Chop my money” and “I get am plenty”.

Fireboy created a remix for his hit song “Peru” which featured Ed Sheeran, a multi-Grammy Award winner from England. On the 24th of December, 2021, the highly anticipated track was released.

Many listeners were blown away by Ed Sheeran’s utilization of the Yoruba and Nigerian pidgin languages in the song.

He sang the part of the hook which says “Omoge no be so”. Omoge is a Yoruba word that means “pretty lady”.

Chris Brown on Davido’s “Blow My Mind’

Davido featured prominent American artist Chris Brown in his song “Blow My Mind.” The song was included in Davido’s A Good Time album, which was released in 2019.

Chris Brown sang a part of his verse as well as the chorus in Nigerian pidgin English.

Chris Brown said “Girl you just dey blow my mind”. This is telling the girl that she is blowing up his mind.

Stefflon Don on her song “Can’t let you Go”

Ever Since Stefflon Don started dating Burna Boy, she has become influenced by Nigeria and its culture. Her songs also reflect these influences.

She incorporated a lot of Yoruba language in her successful song “Can’t Let You Go” from 2021. Because the song was heavily based in the Afrobeats genre, it reached the top of the UK Afrobeats chart.

Justin Bieber on Wizkid’s “Essence” remix

In 2021, Wizkid broke the internet after he dropped a remix of his song, “Essence” which featured Pop star, Justin Bieber.

Tiwa Savage in a new video series that she posted on her Instagram page shared the inspiration behind her hit song, “Somebody’s Son” which has been dominating Tik-Tok.

According to the African bad Gyal, the song tells the story of a girl who has been hurt so many times by people she thought loved her but yet hasn’t given up hope on trying to find love.

“Somebody’s Son is a girl who’s been heartbroken one too many times and instead of her being bitter or her losing hope, she has faith that she is going to find love again”

Nigerian Afropop singer, Tiwa Savage unveils the video snippet to her hit record, “Somebody’s Son” featuring Brandy, as she is set to release the colourful visual soon.

Making the announcement, Tiwa took to her Instagram page on the 5th of October stating; “Got a special visual for y’all, 6 days from now.”

Likewise, Brandy announced the awaiting visuals as she took to her page to appreciate Tiwa.

She stated;

“Wow, God is so awesome. Thank you so much @TiwaSavage for this beautiful dream ♥️ #somebodyson is a special song that is forever timeless. 10/12.”

In a post via Instagram, Tiwa Savage stated that she and Brandy collaborated on a song that has women in a dilemma.

According to Tiwa, her song “Somebody’s Son” is profoundly spiritual and captures the listener’s soul.

She revealed that when women hear the song, they are torn between crying and dancing.

The African bad Gyal shared a video on Instagram of women crying tears of joy and grief while watching her perform the song with the caption; ‘This song na highly spiritual

@brandy we made a song that women all over the world will hear and they won’t know whether to dance or cry. It gets to your soul…. Sis this record, this record hmmmmmm‘.

Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage has revealed she has forthcoming collaborations with Mzvee and Stonebwoy during a conversation with YFM’s Kojo Manuel on the Dryve of Your Lyve show.

In the report sighted by Mp3bullet.ng, The Afrobeat Queen says her song with MzVee will be out in a week, and she’s currently working on her verse for Stonebwoy’s collaboration.
