“Last Last” by Burna Boy is a recognised international smash as it was the song of the day at the 2022 Notting Hill Carnival.

The performer was not bragging when he declared that despite the Toni Braxton royalties, “Last Last” has brought in more money than any other song.

Following videos of UK citizens passionately singing “Last Last” at the Notting Hill Carnival in London, his 2022 hit song is currently trending.

Oxlade, a Nigerian new-age music sensation, has signed a deal with Epic Records, an American record label owned by Sony Entertainment.

The talented singer ends his run as an independent artist with the American A-list record label, Epic Records.

The record company confirmed the news via a Twitter post on their page, which included a brief video introducing Oxlade and hinting at a new track on the way.

On March 9th, the video was released, and Oxlade was also welcomed by Columbia Records, an American record company owned by Sony Music and a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America.

Epic Records, which was formed by Columbia Records, is home to international superstars such as Travis Scott, Camila Cabello, 21 Savage, Future, Mariah Carey, Bobby Shmurda, and many others.

Oxlade’s forthcoming single under Epic Records “Want You” is set to be released on the 18th of March.

This good news is coming weeks after the singer’s s*x tape was leaked online and went viral forcing him to take an impromptu social media break.

Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian singer, and Obi Cubana, a popular businessman, topped Google’s list of the most trending people in Nigeria in 2021.

Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian pop singer, rose to fame after breaking into the music industry in the United Kingdom and the United States. The “Queen of Afrobeats,” as she’s been dubbed.

Savage was born in Lagos and relocated to the United Kingdom for education when she was 11 years old. She began singing backup onstage for acts like George Michael, Sting, and Mary J. Blige when she was a teenager.

In an interview, he received Bella is derived from his name, Abiola and Bobby Shmurda was his favourite artist because he had a carefree attitude.

Bella said he saw Bobby as a young artist with a swag, nonchalant attitude and therefore he put Shmurda with Bella, so it made him sound African and urban.

Quavo who is a member of the Migos group had earlier revealed that he was to pick Shmurda from New York’s Clinton Correction Facility and true to his word, he did.

In a video shared by the rapper on Instagram, Shmurda could be seen alighting a private jet clad in all black with a mask in the same colour.

The 26-year-old rapper was also holding a black briefcase in his left hand and this made many believe that he had transitioned back into his rapper lifestyle.

Bobby Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, was released from prison on Tuesday, February 24, after six years behind bars. He was arrested back in 2014 on weapons and conspiracy charges and sentenced to seven years after taking a plea deal.

Migos were working on a joint album with Shmurda before his arrest and the album now appears to be back on track.

Shmurda was released a year early on good behaviour and participating in prison programs.

Bobby Shmurda who became famous for his song, “Hot N*gga” was arrested in December 2014 during a raid at Quad Studios in Manhattan.

According to XXL Mag, the raid uncovered 21 guns, crack cocaine, and marijuana. In 2016, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to seven years in prison, which was eventually reduced to five years.

According to a 2016 New York Times report, the rapper was accused of being a leader in GS9 or G Stone Crips, a violent street gang in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, who according to the police was responsible for one murder and several shootings. Investigating on the gang for alleged murder and shooting indiscriminately at crowds in public places were going on long before Shmurda rose to fame.

Now, Twitter is speculating that he might be released soon. According to Capital Xtra, previous reports suggested that the rapper may be released in December 2020.

According to speculations, Bobby would be released on his birthday, August 4 as it was reported he had a parole hearing.
