Rudeboy has stated that he was single for four years following his divorce from Anita.

Paul stated that his marriage ended a long time ago but that many people were unaware because he kept it hidden.

Rudeboy and Anita reportedly finalised their divorce over a week ago after an Abuja High Court in Maitama accepted their motion to formally dissolve their union.

Anita and her estranged husband, Paul Okoye also known as Rudeboy, have been granted a divorce by an Abuja High court sitting in Maitama.

Anita stated that her primary motivations for obtaining a divorce were infidelity, extramarital affairs, separation, being an absent father, fraud, and difficult situations.

She also asked for several of her husband’s properties and a monthly settlement of $20,000.00.

Anita had earlier stated in her divorce petition filed at an Abuja High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama, and signed by her attorneys Ojonimi Akpe and Okutepa J.S. that she had paid N10 million as part of a deal with her husband to be given space at the mall he had just finished in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

However, she accused Rudeboy of cheating her out of a deal.

The petition reads in part, “That I know as a fact that the petitioner founded a company called TannkCo in 2019.

“That the petitioner and the respondent agreed to build a mall where TannkCo would have its main offices, and the petitioner contributed N10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Naira) for the purchase of the land and the building of the mall.

“That I know as a fact that the respondent, upon completion of the mall, reneged on the agreement and failed to give TannkCo a space in the mall.”

However, Anita decided to withdraw the claims and opted to settle following alleged inability to prove all of the claims in her petition to the court.

According to a report by PunchNG, the court in its judgment granted joint custody of the children to the parties on October 20, 2022.

According to reports from Gistlover, Anita is suing her husband in court over an affair with their maid, Florence.

This is not the first time this occurrence would happen between the couple. As a matter of fact, in 2021, Anita has asked the court for their marriage to be dissolved.

She urged her now-divorced spouse to contest the petition if he wasn’t happy in the legal paperwork.

Also, in pursuit of the divorce, she demanded that he pay spousal support of $15,000 (N7.8 million) per month.

A friend of Dr. Amira’s had also come forward on her Instagram account, claiming to have seen Buju fly into a rage and stating that while she was eager to testify in court, her friend was not coming forward for money or clout.

Buju’s second round of controversy revolved around tweets from the past. Some Twitter users apparently conducted a search of his previous tweets and discovered receipts dating back to 2016 in which he trashed various Nigerian music singers, including Wizkid, Davido, Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, and others.

These discoveries did not sit well with Wizkid and Davido fans, who went on to slam the singer.

Buju had then responded with a video that indicated he was unconcerned before taking the high road and apologized for his conduct, claiming he had no idea he would later release music, demonstrating his ability to withstand the flames of controversy.

Burna Boy

It’s not news that scandals follow Burna Boy anywhere he goes.

In March of 2021, reports reached Mp3bullet.ng that Burna Boy and his men confronted Martins at Quilox club, where he was asked to prostrate for one of the boys of the Grammy nominee.

The disrespect caused an uproar in the club and it led to a physical clash leading to Obagoal slapping one of Burna’s boys.

Lola Omotayo-Okoye, wife of Peter Okoye of the now-defunct music group, P-square, on Thursday said she was happy her husband and his brother put their differences aside.

This comes only one day after Peter and Paul, the popular singing duo, were seen in a viral video hugging after years of fighting that led to the breakup of their band, P-Square.
