The global superstar has announced The Romantic Tour, his first full headlining tour in almost ten years, following the record-breaking 24K Magic World Tour that kicked off in 2017.

Produced by Live Nation, the 2026 outing will also mark Mars’ first-ever full stadium tour, a clear sign of just how big the moment is for the GRAMMY® Award-winning performer.

Spanning close to 40 dates across North America, Europe, and the UK, the tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest global music events of the year. It all begins on Friday, April 10, with a grand opening night at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, before rolling through major cities such as Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, Denver, Miami, and several others.

True to form, Mars will be taking over some of the world’s most iconic venues. Fans can expect back-to-back stadium nights at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Wembley Stadium in London, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, underscoring the scale and demand surrounding the tour.

Joining him on every stop is his longtime collaborator and Silk Sonic partner, Anderson Paak, who will appear as his DJ alter ego, DJ Pee .Wee. Select dates will also feature additional support from Victoria Monét, RAYE, and Leon Thomas, giving fans a stacked lineup depending on their city.

The announcement comes on the heels of an incredible run of live performances for Mars in recent years. From his acclaimed Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM to a globe-spanning tour that touched Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and South America, the singer has remained a dominant live force.

In early 2024, he made history as the first international artist of the 21st century to sell out seven consecutive shows at the Tokyo Dome. Later that year, he raised the bar even higher by delivering the highest-grossing tour in Brazilian history, selling out 14 stadium shows across five cities.

For UK fans, the wait is over—at least for now. Mars is set to perform two nights at Wembley Stadium on July 18 and 19, which are currently the only UK dates announced before he heads back to the US and Canada.

With The Romantic Tour, Bruno Mars isn’t just returning to the stage—he’s reclaiming it on a global, stadium-sized level.

It’s raining mega performances and collaborations, and OBO is set to appear on the deluxe edition of Chris Brown’s Breezy album.

Recall, Chris released his album titled “Breezy” on the 24th of June as the singer’s 10th studio project and featured A-list acts like Wizkid, Ella Mai, H.E.R, Lil Wayne, Jack Harlow and more.

According to all indications, the deluxe version will include 9 tracks, one of which will feature The DMW boss on a song titled “Nobody Has To Know”. Anderson Paak, an American singer, appears to be on the deluxe edition as well.

The singer’s forthcoming song with Davido will make their third collab after their songs Blow My Mind and Lower Body.

Chris Brown is one of the most influential and successful R&B singers ever, with several considering him the “King of R&B” alongside Usher and R. Kelly.

His musical style has been defined as polyhedric, with his R&B being characterized by several influences from other genres, mainly hip hop and pop music.

Unlike the Oscars, which are usually quite predictable, the #Grammys are always full of surprises, and this 2022 edition was no exception.

Jon Batiste has the most wins with five. Who could have predicted that, save for those who saw him coming in with a lead of 11 nominations and assumed the math would work out?

That mathematics, however, did not apply to the highly nominated Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X, who went home empty-handed (but still full-hearted, let’s hope), nor did it generate the results Olivia Rodrigo and the Tony Bennett/Lady Gaga pairing had hoped for.

Here’s a summary of the greatest snubs and surprises of the year:

SURPRISE: Silk Sonic swept the board.

Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak are the duos that make the fast-rising Silk SOnic group.

Paak had the night’s lone perfect record, at least among nominees who had a considerable number of at-bats.

“We are really trying our hardest to remain humble at this point,” said Paak, “but in the industry we call that a clean sweep.”

They won in all four categories in which they were nominated: record of the year, song of the year, best R&B song and best R&B performance. If they’d been up for album of the year (Silk Sonic’s collection won’t be eligible till next year, because it came out after the Oct. 1 cutoff), they probably would have gotten that one, too.

In retrospect, Silk Sonic being Grammy bait shouldn’t have been as big a surprise as it was, given the way Bruno Mars swept with six wins when he was last up to as a solo artist four years ago.

SNUB: Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish

Lil Nas X and Billie Eilish despite having expectations about at least clinching an award went home empty-handed.

“Can’t believe I lost all my Grammys,” wrote Lil Nax on Twitter. “I am now no longer gay!”.

Of course, he still has his two-year-old “Old Town Road” triumphs to keep him warm. However, any notion that Nas would be rewarded for his boldness was soon dismissed.

Even though he was never a front-runner for album or record of the year, how can he lose for a music video when “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” was the water-cooler clip of the year? That’s simple: He loses if the video gets in the way of the Recording Academy’s love affair with Jon Batiste.

Billie Eilish was also shut out at the 2022 Grammys, after dominating the 2020 awards, after winning the record of the year in 2021, and after just receiving an Oscar last week.

Olivia Rodrigo: Blessings and Disappointments

Rodrigo should be ecstatic to receive three Grammys for the first time as a youngster, and she most likely is. She was destined to win best new artist; no one has ever lost their Grammy lottery by guessing wrongly on that one.

While her Grammys debut is remarkable, to say the least, it’s still been damped due to the over-heightened expectations of just how much the commercial and critical phenomenon of her success might translate to a clean sweep of the top four categories, a la Eilish did two years ago.

Surprising Snubs: BTS and Justin Beiber

If there was a Grammy award for “most spectacular performance on the Grammys,” the K-pop group would be nominated in 2023.

In the absence of anything like that, the seven members are unlikely to care over losing a single nomination as much as its large fan base known as ARMY does. Bowling over a large television audience, as they did on Sunday night, is a reward in and of itself.

However, Bieber and his crew are known to have taken the Grammys seriously in the past, so he may be less enthusiastic about walking home empty-handed.

Nigerian music stars Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy and Tosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi are set to make their Coachella debut in April.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo club in Indio, California.

It is one of the most famous, and profitable music festivals in the United States and all over the world.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that according to the lineup announced through Coachella’s official Instagram account @coachella, Burna Boy will perform his set on April 13 and 20, Mr Eazi will have his performance on April 14 and 21.

The duo have, in the past year, made tremendous progress and impact in their music genres with Burna Boy performing sold out shows and Mr Eazi breaking streaming records.

Burna Boy’s ‘Ye’ remains one of the most listened-to Nigerian songs and Mr Eazi’s ‘Lagos to London’ EP maintained a large global impact.

NAN reports that in 2018, Wizkid was billed to perform at the festival but was unable to due to what the singer termed ‘Visa issues’.

The festival was, however, headlined by Beyoncé whose performances were one of the most-talked about moments of the year.

Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino and Tame Impala will headline the upcoming show while actor and DJ, Idris Elba, Solange, the 1975 and Janelle Monáe will perform.

Kacey Musgraves, Rosalía, Yves Tumor, SOPHIE, Mac DeMarco, Idris Elba, Jon Hopkins, Kaytranada, Anderson Paak, Juice WRLD, Playboi Carti, Let’s Eat Grandma and Sheck Wes are also part of the lineup.
