ChopLife SoundSystem & Mr Eazi have released the official music video to their latest single, ‘Wena‘.

“Wena” is the third track from Mr. Eazi and his ChopLife SoundSystem’s upcoming mixtape project, Choplife Vol. 1: Mzansi Chronicles, which is inspired by South Africa. The song builds on the amapiano wave that Mr. Eazi rode with his most recent releases, “Patek” and “Werser,” but DJ Tárico’s melancholy production immerses us even more in the Choplife matrix.

Choplife Ministries, a new entertainment lifestyle brand curated by Mr. Eazi, is formally introduced in Choplife Vol. 1: Mzansi Chronicles. The ministry, whose name is an expression used in West Africa that translates to “enjoy life,” is dedicated to fostering situations that inspire sentiments of joy, wellbeing, and enjoyment while spreading upbeat, carefree energy through media, music, and events.

Nomfundo Moh, a 21-year-old South African singer who recently joined Spotify’s Equal Africa programme, honours her mother on social media.

The artist honoured her mother’s birthday and shared details of their celebration with her family members on social media.

It’s been heard that grace followed the release of Amagama, Nomfundo’s debut Afropop album, in January of this year. She is the second South African artist selected to take part in the platform’s flagship initiative that elevates the voices of gifted African women, joining DBN Gogo.
