Rico dies few days after a motor accident

The Big Brother Naija community has been thrown into mourning as former season 3 housemate, Patrick Fakoya, popularly Known as Rico Swavey, has been confirmed dead.

Colleagues who were housemates with him confirmed his death on various social media platforms on Thursday.

Some of the reactions are:

Reacting, Tobi Bakare on his Instagram handle posted a picture adding a caption, “This is how I will remember us brother. Forever ” RIP”

Alexandra Amuchechukwu Asogwa popularly known as Alex Unusual also took to her Twitter handle to express her grief. She wrote, “This was not what we agreed Rico, Rest in peace.”

Groovy on his Twitter page wrote: “This was just on Sunday at the winners party. My Team had told me Rico was around and I immediately went over to him to say thank you for all the support and love.???? We lost a Real one. God give your family strength to bare this loss”

Bambam wrote: “This is too much… my heart can’t handle it… I can’t”

Seyi Awolowo wrote: “Good night bro ????️ Thanks for the joy you brought to the world
#ricoswavey will be missed ???? Thanks to everyone who stood by him, prayed, and spread the message ✌️
Our prayers are with his immediate family, relatives, and friends”

Adekunle: “It is often hard to find the right words at a time like this. I pray that God grants the family of Rico the strength to bear this loss. Rest In Peace, Rico. You will be dearly missed.”

Former BBNaija housemate, Alex Unusual took to Instagram to address people who are looking for somebody’s son to love them and used Tiwa Savage as an example.

According to the Reality star, one shouldn’t just sit at home singing about wanting somebody’s son to find them one day.

She stated that women should improve and add value to themselves while waiting to be found. She said that even Tiwa Savage who recorded the song isn’t wasting her time at home.

She also addressed her message to the male folks.

Tiwa Savage reacting to Alex’s comment via Instablog’s comment section wrote;
