<h3><strong>Take a look at some albums from 2020 for example.</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Tiwa Savage</strong> had <strong>Sam Smith</strong> on the album, the song wasn&#8217;t the biggest or even a fan favorite, It was <strong>Koroba</strong> [pure Afrobeats]</p>
<p>Look at <strong>Made In Lagos</strong> featuring Multiple Grammy-winning artists, Yet, the biggest songs on the album were made by purely Afrobeat artistes <strong>Wizkid</strong>, <strong>Tems</strong>, <strong>Burna Boy</strong>. [<strong>Ginger </strong>and<strong> Essence</strong>]. How does this help the so-called &#8220;<strong>Afrobeat movement&#8221;</strong>? Yes, it plays a major role considering how appealing they find the genre.</p>

<p><strong>A Better Time</strong> by <strong>Davido</strong> also had a star lineup, Yet, the biggest songs are Solos [<strong>Fem</strong>, <strong>Jowo</strong>] and a <strong>Mayorkun</strong> [an Afrobeat artiste] feature.</p>
<p><iframe title="Davido - Jowo (Official Video)" width="814" height="458" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/l6QMJniQWxQ?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p><strong>Carpe Diem</strong> by <strong>Olamide</strong> didn&#8217;t have star-studded features [so, automatically it was made purely by Afrobeats artistes, no foreign acts]&#8230;But the biggest songs were still a brilliant product of Afrobeats artistes coming together.</p>
<p><strong>Olamide, Bad Boy Timz, Omah Lay, </strong>and<strong> Bella Shmurda</strong>. [This is even more amazing if you consider that they are just up and coming artistes].</p>
<p>Throwback to <strong>African Giant</strong> by <strong>Burna Boy, </strong>it had <strong>Future</strong> and <strong>Damian Marley</strong> on it<br />
Yet, a collaborative effort from <strong>Burna</strong> and <strong>Zlatan</strong> was the number one song in the continent that year [Zlatan didn&#8217;t even have an album to his name then] mad thing.</p>

<h3><strong>Collabos at times make the job half done</strong></h3>
<p>Throwback to <strong>Soco</strong>. Great song, Certified, yeah?<br />
How did it come about? A brilliant collaboration between afrobeats artistes [many of which includes up&amp;coming stars]</p>
<p><iframe title="STARBOY - SOCO ft. TERRI X SPOTLESS X CEEZA MILLI X WIZKID (OFFICIAL VIDEO)" width="814" height="458" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1VrWaED18_g?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>Remember <strong>Dorobucci</strong>? Similar<br />
Tiwa was the only top act on it back then [aside from the respected <strong>Don Jazzy</strong>] others were young acts.</p>
<p><iframe title="MAVINS - DOROBUCCI ft Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Dr SID, D&#039;Prince, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello, Di&#039;Ja" width="814" height="458" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vDHBe1BA-Nk?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>Aside from the fact that you&#8217;re bringing two audiences together, you&#8217;re most times fusing two subgenres of Afrobeats.</p>
<p>Neither of Burna and Wizkid would sing Ginger alone and it would be this big [The fans can knack their head on anything and disagree, it&#8217;s just the plain truth].</p>
<p>Do you know how big a <strong>Burna X Wizkid EP</strong> would be? Nothing would touch it if it comes out, nothing.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve missed out on collaborations from the previous wave of Afrobeats giants [<strong>P-Square,</strong> <strong>2Baba, D&#8217;banj, 9ice, Wande Coal</strong>], Obviously, We didn&#8217;t get enough collaborations between these guys,</p>
<p>Afrobeats to the world and beyond!!! A big Shout to <strong>Fela Kuti.</strong></p>
