The 21-year-old artist clarified that he’s a fan of A-Reece and wants the fanbase, especially A-Reece’s loyal “Slimes,” to stop pushing the narrative of a feud.

Flvme discusses his relationship with Ambitiouz Entertainment, his rupture with A-Reece, and other aspects of his musical career.

In a recent interview with Zingah on the Choppin It podcast, the rapper was really open. When an AE member contacted him, he gave the age of 16 as his claim.

“I think I hit them up in 2015, around December,” he said.

“It was New Year’s Eve. They replied to my email on New Year and then we just started chopping it up.”

He said that King Mute was the source of the reply. ‘Yo, are you sure you’re 16 years old?’ was the response. Yes, why are you asking? I responded.

The rapper said that A-Reece, who was a fan of the rapper, was the reason he joined the label.

“Crazy enough the reason I went to Ambitiouz was cause of Reece.”

“When I heard ‘Couldn’t’ I was like oh sh**. I was already a fan of everybody out there before that, but when I specifically heard him I was oh nah, I gotta go in there. I gotta tighten up and make a plan to go in there.”

“Also, because for me I couldn’t believe there was a young n**** on that level at the time, so it was inspirational for me. I was like I need to see this n**** and see how he operates.”

According to the stats, amapiano producer Mr JazziQ is the most-streamed South African artist on the platform by Gen Z users, He’s followed by another amapiano sensation Busta 929, who is followed by rappers A-Reece and Nasty C respectively.

JazziQ has been releasing music consistently and scoring hits since the two parted ways. His recent release is the project Party With The English.
