Chingary, a song that blends rap storytelling with Afrobeats rhythm, has a gritty but melodic beat. Lyrically, it’s a personal reflection, with 4FLYCE pouring out his emotions without filter.

Born in Nigeria into a large family of ten, 4FLYCE has always been “born different”. Early on, he was labelled as the outcast and found solace in his creativity and music. What started as a youthful attraction to sound and rhythm grew into a life’s purpose. By 2017, he had taken the bold step of founding his own record label, KWEMZIK MUSIQ, a platform that allowed him to explore his vision while nurturing other artists.

Under KWEMZIK MUSIQ, he worked with fellow artist Darnaski, forming the group Darlington Koka. Their efforts paid off, landing them a performance slot at Harrysong’s concert in Warri in 2018. The following year, the duo dropped an EP titled Indigenous Vibe and later secured a collaboration during Orezi’s 2019 concert. While the experience brought challenges and financial setbacks, 4FLYCE turned the struggles into lessons that continue to shape his art.

New Chapter: Three Singles with a Story

4FLYCE is back with fresh energy, dropping three new singles across all platforms — OK Freestyle, How You Dey, and Chingary. Each track explores real-life experiences, from betrayal and detachment to survival and self-belief. Rather than masking his pain, 4FLYCE translates his scars into lyrics that resonate with anyone navigating struggles.

On Chingary, He opens with:
“Every day my heart is beating mean say am still alive again, So I live to believe in myself.”

The honesty in these lines reminds listeners of the resilience needed to push forward despite hardship. He continues with words of motivation:

“And my breath becomes motivation to focus on my vision life mission; Way nor easy at all my core, my War.”

It’s a candid confession from a man who is struggling with his circumstances and refusing to give up.

4FLYCE’s artistry doesn’t come in isolation. He draws inspiration from Nigerian greats like 2Baba, Vector the Viper, Erigga, and Olamide, while also borrowing from global rap icons such as Nas, KRS-One, and J Hus. The result is a hybrid sound; lyrical rap grounded in storytelling, layered with Afrobeats energy and streetwise grit.

These influences are evident in Chingary, where sharp delivery meets soulful rhythm, creating a track that feels both modern and deeply rooted in tradition.

Music With a Purpose

What makes 4FLYCE different is that he isn’t just making songs for entertainment; his music is therapy. He channels feelings of betrayal, backstabbing, detachment, and curiosity that nearly led him astray into words that others can hold onto. As he puts it, a man is a “spiritual being”, and that spiritual depth underscores every track he delivers.

Looking Ahead with KWEMZIK MUSIQ

With his record label still active, KWEMZIK MUSIQ is more than just a personal outlet—it’s a vision for collaboration and artist development. Having overcome industry setbacks and personal battles, 4FLYCE now stands as a voice for resilience, authenticity, and raw honesty in Nigerian music.

With Chingary, 4FLYCE proves he is not afraid to expose his pain, struggle, and determination through music. Alongside OK Freestyle and How You Dey, this release shows that he is not just an artist but a storyteller, a motivator, and a survivor.

For fans of Afrobeats, rap, and conscious music, 4FLYCE offers something refreshing: songs that inspire, heal, and entertain at the same time. As his journey continues, one thing is clear: the fire of KWEMZIK burns brighter than ever.
